This policy is designed in compliance with Ontario and Canadian laws, specifically tailored for our commission-based painting services. Please review the following terms carefully:

Cooling-off Period

  • Right to Cancel: Ontario consumers have a statutory right to a cooling-off period of 10 days. During this period, you may cancel any commission agreement without penalty and for any reason. This period starts on the day you receive a written copy of the agreement (electronically or otherwise).

  • Notice of Cancellation: To cancel under this right, please provide written notice via email or postal mail to [Your Business Contact Information] within the cooling-off period.

Deposits

  • Refundable Deposits: Deposits made to secure a commission are fully refundable if the commission is cancelled within the cooling-off period. Beyond this period, deposits become non-refundable, except as outlined under "Non-Completion or Unsatisfactory Completion of Services".

Non-Completion or Unsatisfactory Completion of Services

  • Failure to Complete: If we are unable to complete your commission due to unforeseen circumstances, you are entitled to a full refund, including the deposit.

  • Unsatisfactory Services: Your satisfaction is paramount. If the completed work significantly deviates from the agreed-upon specifications and cannot be rectified, we will negotiate a partial refund or correction of the work at no additional cost.

Custom Orders

  • Non-refundable: Due to the personalized nature of commissioned miniature painting, orders that are completed as per the specification sheet cannot be refunded unless they fall under "Unsatisfactory Services".

Damaged Goods

  • Shipping Damage: If your miniatures are damaged upon arrival due to shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a repair service, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the extent of the damage and the possibility of repair.

Process for Requesting a Refund
